"Ignatius of Loyola" – The Path of Discernment

This evocative artwork captures St. Ignatius of Loyola in a moment of deep contemplation, standing at the threshold of divine insight. This painting on a 36"x 24" gallery wrapped canvas was started by applying several layers of acrylic washes at first to achieve the desired visual depth. The final rendering was done with oil paint.
