"Julian of Norwich" – A Vision of Hope and Reflection

Bathed in soft light, Julian of Norwich sits by a weathered window, lost in contemplation as she pens her divine revelations. This painting on a 36"x 24" gallery wrapped canvas was started by applying several layers of acrylic washes at first to achieve the desired visual depth. The final rendering was done with oil paint.
