Inspired by Saint Teresa of Avila, this painting captures the raw emotion of mysticism—the sacred moment where the soul unites with the divine. Her golden robes reflect both warmth and illumination, while her closed eyes and parted lips speak of a rapture beyond words. This piece is a tribute to faith, passion, and the boundless mysteries of the unseen.

This painting was created on a 24"x18" birch wood panel. The texture you can notice is venetian plaster that was layered with alcohol ink, sanded and re-layered until the desired depth was achieved. In addition acrylic paint and other mixed media was used. The final layer of this piece consists of oil paint.
